Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Kali had a great time. Easy hike for this experience lady. We gridded out the Carters together today. Something spooked Kali big time coming down off of Middle Carter, I am still not sure what happened. She stopped and was barking like someone was breaking into our apartment. Kali met to red fox kits just before the bushwhack to Camp Dodge and enjoyed a quick play before I called her away. Couldn't believe what I was seeing and I was afraid their mother wouldn't appreciate Kali. So we beat feet. There is nothing I would rather spend the day with than Miss Kali.

Comments
Comments: Early, early morning hike. Grandson had us up at 4am and off we went like a rocket. Out the door and up the mountains! Needed just these two to kill July's grid. 11 of 12 months complete. This is happening. 5 peaks stand between me and 100%.
Nice fast morning jaunt of just the Carters, 3.5 hours and off to do another hike.
