| Comments: |
Hit the trail at 8am, bare-booted past the water-crossings on a stable morning monorail, switched to snowshoes for the remainder of the hike. Some bare rock and bare trail on the ridge was easily maneuvered. Descent resulted in a few accidental butt-slides, as the snow on the steeps had softened up with the afternoon sun. Everything is melting, the snow doesn't have long. This hike would have been an exercise in frustration without snowshoes. Overall, a beautiful day. |
