Comments
Comments: We took a stroll through the Mt Teneriffe Preserve first. These trail are still covered with leaves from last fall, but the trails are well marked with metal signs/blazes, so getting lost is really not an option. The Preserve would make a nice family hike.
Getting to the summit of Mt Teneriffe is usually by using the drive way with the red building on it, but as we came out of the Preserve we noticed an unnamed blazed trail directly across the street. We followed it and it does indeed go to the summit. We took the herd path back down through the landowners property to make a nice loop. At only 3.68 miles total, you get a lot of bang for the buck on this hike. :)
We did post a video of our adventure for anyone who might like to see our day. Just click the link.
