Over all a really good hike. Lonesome Lake hut trail was frozen when we started, but slushy when we came down. Definitely needed snow shoes which we did not bring. Fishing Jimmy trail, would not recommend during spring, to much ice and slushy. Got a few new bruises and bumps from sliding down the mt. The Kinsman Ridge Trail was nice, but again needed snow shoes from north to south Kinsman. The views were amazing on both Mts. There was a good amount of hikers on the trails, and was happy to see we were not the only crazy one's to take the fishing Jimmy trail. This made our 15th and 16th 4000 footer. Such great weather and beautiful hike. |
