| Comments: |
Only equipment needed today was trail runners and sunscreen. Saw people in either microspikes/hillsounds or bareboots - many carrying snowshoes that were not needed. We had no issues in trail runners. The trail is soft in places but you still hard underneath. The monorail is wide. Cairn on Pierce looks like a very small pile of rocks and the summit of Ike is bare.
