Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: 2 small stepovers right before wilderness sign, stepover between the 2 stream crossings. Large stepover right after second stream crossing, stepover coming out of snow up high before the view ledges, stepover coming out of the snow on Crawford spur; water running on path for 10 yards from stream at second crossing; a spot of pretty bad trail erosion above camp site where water is coming out of soil. Water was right at top of bog bridge at beginning of trail.

Comments
Comments: Thought I'd take a hike today when temps were still somewhat cold. A nice monorail almost top to bottom. Down low no snow besides the rail, higher up more snow with the rail the place to walk. A few stretches of ice where traction made thing easier to navigate. A few stretches with water running on the trail. Bare rock on ledges above viewpoint with snow between but snow was bearing weight. As is, snowshoes would just come along for the ride. Cloudy layer above but still great 360 degree views. Looked like no recent traffic on Davis path beyond Crawford spur.
