Mine Hill (Auburn)
Nice little firetower site hike! You can see how the views over Lake Massabesic would have been great at one time. NOTE: firetower site is adjacent to a large house - lots of signage not to cross onto their property (you do not need to trespass to reach the firetower site). Lots of skidder roads going into/out of a log landing on the way up, but, they all pretty much lead to an upper fire road. Last minute decision to hit this - perhaps dress shoes weren't a great idea... |
