An amazing bluebird day - glad I took the day off ahead of the rain and sleet - first time up here when the in clear skies down as the clouds started rolling in - amazing blue skies against the white snow - actually got a bit of sunburn today. Trail the usual packed superhighway up to hermit shelter a bit soft in the sunny spots but easy going. Steep pitch right above the shelter was a bit soft easy up but some sliding heading down - traction was useful for this stretch for some extra bite, easy going above this. Many out enjoying the perfect day with skiers taking advantage of all the runs. |
