We hiked up in a mist and down in the pouring rain. Warm day, so we allowed ourselves to get soaked on the last half of the descent. Felt good. Nice way to burn off some of that Halloween candy. Also nice to have this usually busy peak mostly to ourselves. Saw one couple, one solo fellow, and one man with his dog. Nice views in spite of the weather. |
