Comments: Blue (Belknap MT Rd.) to Whiteface Trail blue

Finished up our Belknap 12 on our second hike of the day. Led a beginners hike up Mount Major this morning. Realized that we didn't have the whole map with us Thor the afternoon hike and bought a new one $3 at the library.
First part of hike from trailhead at the end of Belknap MT Rd is about 100 yards from the paved circle on the left. Nice easy grade up to the ridge. Cross a stone wall opening and into a field, trail goes off to the right into an ATV path with one sign with an arrow says Mt Whiteface. Follow this ATV road for a mile and come to the top of Whiteface. No sign, looks like a party spot with a fire pit and some trash.
Noone else on trails, nice view of Piper ledges and some of the lake.
