Comments
Comments: This is a really fantastic trail that seems a bit lesser known. The terrain is really varied throughout the hike, from long, winding stone stairs, to exposed granite, to soft dirt and roots, you kind of get it all. The initial climb is steep, about 900 ft in a little over a half-mile. There are a lot of scrub trees at the top, so views are nice but a bit limited. Overall a really nice and rewarding hike. Be sure to check out Devil's Den on the way out on S.Arm Rd - there's a swimming hole, and a waterfall you could ride as a waterslide on a tube. Cool place.
