Roadside on South Arm road a few miles west of AT and before the boat launch. There's a hiking trail sign that's hard to miss. |

I took the trail to the very nice view point. This would be a good follow-up hike after Elephant, or anything else in the area. The trailhead is marked on the road and is a few miles west of the AT on South Arm Road.
I chose to bushwhack to the 2,357 peak that is a couple hundred feet above the ledge. There was some tight woods. I visited an off trial view with a nice look at elephant. |
