Parking/Access Road Notes: Success Pond Road washed out right before trailhead coming from Berlin side..parked in an old log yard couple hundred yards down...

Water Crossing Notes: rock hop first one easy; second one, tricky muddy bank to come down to rocks, used to be easy until this past Oct storm..

Bugs: not bad but with warmer weather coming they will get worse...

Comments: Trail check to Speck Pond, May Cutoff, Mahoosuc down to Speck Pond and then back out from shelter..trimming needed in spots with the hardwood and hobble bush sections..all good, fast hike cause I had to keep up!!
