| Comments: |
A few thin patches of snow in the first quarter mile. Second quarter mile melt off flowing on trail. Frequent open wet spots easy to get around. There were postholes for about the first half mile. Could have probably used light traction, but a posthole could result in a wet foot on the lower half of the trail. We used snowshoes the entire way. The monorail was lumpy on the lower half, less defined above that, and wind packed drifts at top. With cold temperatures the snow was mostly solid with great traction. Overall easy climb. |
