I followed Jeff and Karine’s driving directions and parked at 19.1 miles in from the main road. I could have driven the well-packed snowmobile trail, but I chickened out once I saw the narrow bridge that. As it was, I only had 2 miles/30 minutes walking to get to the “ordinary trailhead “. |

Rushed to get to the summit before dark - started at 3:50pm after “exploring†Lincoln Pond Rd and Bowmantown Express. Woods were great save for one brief band of thick stuff. No sign of tracks from the previous parties, save for the very last bit near the summit - everything had drifted in. |
