Comments
Comments: Beautiful day on the Bigelows! There was evidence of some trail breaking and skiing before the rain last week and then it froze. The snow was crusty and we had to be careful on the steep parts of Fire Wardens trail because there is thick ice underneath the snow. We were able to use snowshoes because there was enough snow although it was more tricky on the exposed summits because of the thick ice and wind.
Someone had packed out to South Horn so at the end of the day we had some tracks to follow.
