Comments
Comments: Approached from Kennebago rd, went left at the intersection and followed this side road to the end, then bushwhacked up through the woods to the logging/snowmobile road at 2000 ft. Through the woods the snow was a few inches of powder on top of breakable crust and we sank quite deep on most steps. Snow conditions improved higher up so you didn’t sink in as much. We were pleasantly surprised to find some snowshoe tracks heading up from the road at 2100 ft, making this trip much easier than we expected. Tracks followed some open logging areas up to the next road, then the boundary line and they picked a good line heading to the summit, avoiding the thick patches. Thanks to those 2 who were out here yesterday.
