Trails were not broken, didn't look like anyone had been there since over a 1ft was dumped in early January. I wore crampons (hoping it would be packed), ended up in drifts up to my waist in a few places, oh well. Made it about a mile away from summit before I ran out of daylight. Lots of bear tracks, ended up following them on the trail for a good ways. I went the AT root, but the eyebrow was untouched as well, looked intimidating. |
