| Comments: |
Did this one with Colin and a cast of various characters. The road was packed down by snow mobile traffic and the Fire Warden's Trail was packed out by other snow shoes past the junction with the Horns Pond Trail. The Horns Pond Trail was not broken out but we could see a faint glimpse of the track left earlier in the week. The route up to Horns Pond was relatively easy while the trail from there up to the sum it was easy but pretty steep (steeper than I remember it). The trail was packed down by ten on the way up and six on the way down - the other four went on to summit the other Bigelows in a loop so that route is packed out too. |
