| Water Crossing Notes: |
2 wooden bridges and several rock hops. New Katahdin Stream bridge is being built near the park's southern boundary near the West Branch of the Penobscot River. It should be done this fall. There is temporary crossing on the old bridge. On my ride home Tuesday evening it rained a lot so the water levels are no doubt higher. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
This is my 6 mile section of the A.T. in BSP, that I maintain for the Maine A.T. Club. I cleared 5 small blowdowns and clipped some branches on the A.T. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
No pets allowed in BSP. Even Percival Baxter, who bought this land and donated it to the people of Maine, did not bring his dogs to the park. |

| Bugs: |
None |
|
| Lost and Found: |
One hiking pole and one blue handkerchief carried out. |
