Comments
Comments: Beautiful long loop up to Baxter Peak. The Hunt Trail was very challenging for the ascent with a lot of scrambling and a few sketchy spots of ledge. Trail was in pretty good shape considering the amount of use it gets. Mainly dry with one short section of running water in the trail. The Abol Trail was wild going down. A recent relocation takes the trail away from the lower section of the slide making it a bit safer. Still quite a challenge to descend. The summit was very busy with many thru hikers making their finish.
