Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Our initial attempt was to drive in from the west on Quill Hill road. We went another route as rough road conditions prevented us from making much progress towards the peaks. We drove in on IP Road to Nash Stream road, to Nit Picking road. We drove until we deemed conditions too rough for a Subaru and began to walk. We were north of the peak and had made good progress towards it.

Comments
Comments: We walked the road for a considerable distance, making some good vertical progress. We then bushwhacked up in regrowth and woods that were sometimes open and other times very tight. We had no issue finding the recognized highpoint.

We followed the ridge towards the west peak. The woods were tight with blowdown in places. We made some progress on old roads/cuts. Ascending to the west peak started thick, but opened as we approached the recognized highpoint.

We headed down to the north in woods that were again, tight in places. We soon hit Black Nubble road, which rejoinged Nit Picking road.
