Comments
Comments: I took the AT to Eddy Pond, where I searched for herd paths towards ledge pond. I found a path initially, but soon lost it. I bushwhacked up, heading towards the peak prior to reaching to pond. Going was thick in places, but never bad. I found a long-lost register on a blowdown, which I consolidated with a more recent (2008) register. to return, I headed to the pond, which was a nice spot with some old boats. Again, I followed herd paths, but lost them on the way down to the AT. After bushwhacking down to the trail, I visited the caves and Piazza rock.
