Comments
Comments: Only went up Avery due to time constraints. Lots of wet spots, but not too deep and easily hopped over or avoided....my partner hiked in sneakers and only dunked a foot once or twice. Rock stairs wet. Started seeing snow right below the Col. Lots of snow in sheltered areas on way up to Avery from Col but easily traversed with no traction aids. Postholed a few times to mid thigh. Snow disappears as you approach treeline.
