Comments
Comments: Access road was muddy with patches of ice and snow. Significant snow and ice where the snowmobile trail joined the road, all of which became soft in the afternoon. The trail sign has fallen off the tree where the footpath leaves the road. Sections of snow and ice alternated with mud and running water, with the snow deeper than knee-deep in places. We did a lot of post-holing through the soft snow, especially on the descent as the day warmed up. Summit ledges are bare. Excellent views of the snowy Presidentidals. Met one other couple on top.
