Comments
Comments: Another great day out with perfect temps and skies, always love the views from the lengthy ledges up top. Mainly dry trail with a few spots of mud that can be avoided with a stretch of about 100 yards of surviving monorail before you hit the ledges. For those not familiar with the trail there is of course the stretch about 1/4 long where the relocation rejoins the old trail; this stretch is running water over rocks and mud; fortunately not slick today but your boots are going to get wet. From there you're on dry rock to the summit where there are 360 views. I'll be back when the blueberries are out! It's worth taking the short detour on the connector (sign) about 1/3 mile in from the trailhead; it leads to a water crossing on a bridge right below a nice small waterfall.
