| Comments: |
I began by walking the mountain pond trail to the pond. The trail is well packed and is turning to monorail. I then backtracked a short distance and began to bushwhack towards the peak. Initial going was a bit thick and ice coated. I crossed a handful of swampy areas. Snow was supportive except in some open areas where the crust broke and the snow was soft. After working through some lower thick woods, things opened up. I climbed, never too steeply, until I hit tighter woods and then the recognized highpoint. I followed my tracks out. |
