| Comments: |
Broke out the trail through 1-3 ft of snow. Due to the height of some drifts, evergreen branches along the trail were perfectly positioned at face level. Numerous scoot-overs, scoot-unders. Towards the top some difficult/sketchy sections of steep rock covered in ice/snow. Lost the trail several times due to infrequent blazes but tracks will lead to the summit. On the way back we discovered that several moose had decided to go through and decimate our trail with postholes...
Glorious day and glorious views. Thanks to Deb C and Liz W for a great adventure! |
