Comments
Comments: Another great day with temps from 35 to 50, cloudy early then blue sky by noon, breezy at times. Saw 3 Nobo's and 4 day hikers.
Foliage is past peak due to Thursday's rain and wind. Lots of leaves on the trail makes for crunchy walking. The views at the top of Pleasant Pond Mt. were fantastic. Nice hike from the Kennebec River to Pleasant Pond Mt. and I took the short side trail to Pleasant Pond where the A.T. corridor extends to a sandy beach for hikers.
