Comments
Comments: Paused at commemorative marker noting completion of AT by CCC workers in late 30's, mid-way to Spaulding. Side trail to left from Spaulding summit led to nice lunch spot with good view cut out to north--Sugarloaf & Bigelow Mtn. Met several thru hikers traveling in equal numbers both directions. North bound left Georgia in Feb. South bound left Katahdin mid-June; will look for them next few weeks in White Mtns. Apologies for mis-spelling Bigelow Mtn the other day.
