Comments: A friend and I drove up from the Portland area Wednesday night and got to the trailhead at 10:30pm. We hiked up to the tent platforms and camped there for the night. It was clear, in the 50s and bug-less. We got up at 4:00am and headed to the summit for sunrise, which was amazing. After breakfast on the summit out of the wind we hiked south on the ridge to Middle Abraham and then followed the herd trail down to the snowmobile trails. We then bushwhacked up to South Abraham and explored that ridge as well. At 9:00am we retraced our steps but stayed higher with the bushwhack. Clouds rolled in by the time we got back to Middle Abraham, so the hike back to the car was viewless. We got back to our car by 1:45pm without seeing another soul the entire time. I'll have a full trail report with photos, a video and some info on the bushwhack route we took in the near future.
