| Comments: |
Shawnee Peak ski area ski trails still had patchy snow. Nothing connected top to bottom, but still some extended patches. Trails are generally grassy/mossy (older trails tend to be built to be smooth), so not much in way of mud.
The initial scramble out of the col on the North Ridge Trail still had patchy blue ice, which could be avoided with care. One on the ridge, it was pretty smooth sailing all the way to Pleasant Mountain. Some ups and downs, but generally decent footing. |
