Comments
Comments: Started out from Daicey Pond Cabins where we were staying. The route we took to start, tote roads from Daicey over to Kidney necessary as bridge over Nesowadnehunk Stream at Daicey Stream still not repaired. Once at Kidney, we cut across a frozen Kidney Pond and hooked up with the Sentinel Mountain Trail. An easy up grade most of the way until the last 1/4 mile where it gets steep until the summit. This last 1/4 mile on this day, we all had micro spikes, a must, 12 points maybe in some places, but we managed. Summit offered fantastic views for a lunch break in all directions throughout Baxter Park. This small summit provides a great challenge and offers big rewards for views on clear days. Great crew to hike with. Thanks to Paul and Todd!
