Comments
Comments: We hiked in BSP with Zachary, Alex, and Pete. We entered the park on the 27th. We were excited to have a fewinches of new, unpacked powder as it allowed us to take sleds. the cabin at Daicy was a welsome, warm respite.
As a group of five, we headed to the Marston trail early on the 28th. The trail had about ½ foot of snow which had been broken by two hikers w/o snowshoes. Most of us used the shoes, one used Hillsound Pros. Snowshoes were sometimes problematic due to exposed rocks. Snow depths increased at higher elevation. At the brothers col we went for N. bro, while Zach, Pete and Alex headed for S.Brother and Coe. It was a very cold and windy on the exposed summits.
On the 29th, we departed the park, as significant snow accumulated. Congratulations to Zachary for completeing his 100 highest winter.
