A quick hike up this interesting small nubble/ledge/cliff/boulder thing (600') in Fryeburg. Excellent views from the top, all the way out to the Tripyramids and over to Evans Notch. Really cool summit marker with a guide to the surrounding peaks. This is a fantastic place to watch the sunset, we got there just before. On the way down we explored the small caves and boulders, which are fun. The store also has good sandwiches. :) Killer stats on this hike: 0.4 mi. round-trip with about 175' of elevation gain. |
