Comments
Comments: This hike is a lot of fun and offers 360 views of the Carrabassett Valley, Bigelows and Crocker Mountain range. The trail is blue blazed at the beginning, blue blazes, orange mesh tied to trees and orange rope in the middle, cairns, yellow blazes, orange mesh in the alpine zone. Pay attention above tree line, if you get lost head towards a cairn which will bring you back on the trail. Incredible views, some of the best I have seen in Maine even better than Sugarloaf IMO! Awesome day out on the trail. More info on this trail may be found at http://www.maine.gov/dacf/mnap/assistance/hikes/burnt_hill_sugarloaf.pdf.
