one wet spot with flowing water on Long Swamp Trail..rock hopped |

trails a bit braided in places , spoke to a few folks that got twisted around. overall well signed with trail work evident everywhere..the monhegan associates take great care of these trails |

Antoehr fine day on Monhegan..hot today..spent a lot of time in the woods doing the interior trails. Station Hill and some of the herd paths the favorites. Rental change over day so virtually no one on the trails today..very quiet and peaceful place. Large swells pn the southeast today made for some great wave watching. 12.5 miles today but only 1100 feet of elevation..lots of ocean gazing..and there is a brew pub!! Great day out |
