Comments: great day on Monhegan..big crowds on the boat and main trails but easy to get away from the crowds on the paths not taken.. lots of elevation change on the cliff trail great swamp trail had a couple of mud pits, otherwise pretty good tho steep in spots trails. not a place for flip flops,,have your hiking shoes..Monhegan rocks!!! did i mention they have a brew pub??
