The second crossing was a bit tricky due to wet rock slabs. The rest were easy. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
East Royce Trail is in great shape with many wonderful rock staircases and waterbars, all of which are functioning perfectly. Royce Connector is mellow. Royce Trail had some long wet areas after the previous day's rain but it's still a nice trail. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
There are many good slurping and soaking spots. There is some significant rock scrambling to do and fall potential so be careful guys. |

Barely any. |

| Comments: |
We made it to the end of the official trail on East Royce, then looked for the faint trail to the summit. After a couple of false starts, we think we saw where it was, but opted out because of some big, steep, possibly wet rock faces. |
