Comments
Comments: I started by 'redlinning' the Notch trail to the Mahoosuc trail junction. I then launched a bushwhack on Mahoosuc Mtn from near the junction. The woods were not too bad headed all the way up to the summit area. There is a sub-peak to the south that had me looking for the recognized high-point. The ridge between the false peak and high point was a little thick. The high point is to the north and is an incredible spot. 360 views to the Carters, Presidentials, Pilot/Pliny ranges, Kelsey/Dixvill Area, Sunday River, Elephant, and much more. Among my favorites now.
