Comments
Comments: We hiked up Deer Hills Trail until intersection of Deer Hill Bypass. We visited the spring and it is a fun thing to see. A natural artesian well that bubbles up through nice white sand surrounded by algae and frog eggs. Hunted around for mica mine but we didn't think we found anything? Is the mine off the bypass trail and I walked right by it last week? Cool woods just the same. CTA does a great job maintaining all these trails.
