| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking lot is in great condition. However the trash is disturbing - beer cans, cigarettes. Come on folks, leave no trace! |
|

| Water Crossing Notes: |
A few small streams to cross. No issues, some rock hopping. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Two new-ish blowdowns that will require a chain saw to clean up, trees have fallen across the trail. Branches from wind storms all over the trails, not too bad, but evident. We moved some out of the way. |

| Comments: |
Typical spring hike - some patches of slushy and sloppy snow in the woods. Otherwise lots of grass and bare rock. A lot of running water on this trail, wear waterproof boots. We did not need any traction or snow shoes. We went up and down the "orange" blazed trail - 2.6 miles each way to the summit. Outstanding 360 views of the Presi's and pretty much every peak around! Worthwhile hike for just about 4 hours, including leisurely lunch at the summit. |
