Comments
Comments: We got an early start up Chimney Pond trail, thinking it could be a summit day (Katahdin). Fairly high winds made us decide to wait for Sunday. Joanie and I checked out blueberry knol which offers interesting views of the north basin, Hamlin Ridge, Pamonla, and the Knife Edge. These trails are likely barebootable, although we used snowshoes and it did snow while we were in the park. We walked a short distance towards the north basin, following the tracks of some skiers and climbers.

Slow and Steady (Joanie and Suzanne)will post Sunday's hike.
