Comments
Comments: A great day out on the trails, all trails nicely packed out so now is a good time to visit Camden Hills - most in boots today with a few in snowshoes either was fine today. Only negative was a trio of snowmobilers that thought it would be fun to head up the Megunticook trail which is a hiking trail only - they dug a few holes in places, hid the packed trail in other spots which led to sinking up above knees - about half way up they did manage to get stuck. For those interested in the other trails: Slope trail from summit hadn't seen any traffic - ridge trail and jack williams trail from Maiden Cliff trailhead also nicely packet out - however, parking lot for Maiden Cliff has not been plowed so parking on this side is along Rte 52.
