| Comments: |
Hiked up Blueberry then Ames (off summit) and Speckled and looped back down via Bickford with group of 4. 4" to 6" snow was wet. We carried microspikes but did not need them; that could change when the snow hardens. Too thin for snowshoes. We broke out Lookout Loop, otherwise trails were tracked out by folks going before us. Some of the steep pitches ascending Blueberry were getting icy. The ice was thin and soft but will harden and become more difficult when it freezes. Not much ice on the rest of the circuit. Some drifts up high. Some bare patches on Bickford Brook Tr. where there are seeps and rills. |
