Comments
Comments: Foliage Peak, cruise ships in town so even on a Monday Bar Harbor is cranking. We would have taken shuttles but we wanted to ride bicycles after tackling these two climbs and our bikes were in the car! Yes these climbs live up to their hype, not for the faint of heart or those scared of heights. People are nuts, met couple from IL that were terrified 3/4 up Beehive, didn't read about them in the paper so they must have lived. Great fun, I don't think the National Parks people would let us have this much fun in the White Mountains! Great to see bald mountaintops and the ocean! Liked how we could hear the waves when climbing The Beehive. We so lucked out on the weather.
