Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: They do their best to hide trailheads off of route 3, there seems to be plenty of parking on edge of road. Trailhead signs are carved tree like stumps that can't be seen from roadway and are difficult to read up close too.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Ladder Trail may very well be the most amazing set of stone stairs, in length and quality, in the all of Acadia Park. Diederich Climb had more amazing stone work and then all along the Tarn via Kane Path was paved with scree stone! Nicest trails!

Comments
Comments: Didn't begin hike until after 3 pm and lowering sun made for lovely light on the peak foliage. Dorr's ledgy Summit is excellent in every way! Went down and up Gorge Path to Cadillac (near true summit man asked us where the summit was because he lost his wife after dropping her off at the visitors center in the parking lot, yikes--Cadillac makes Mnt Wash's summit seem rural). We went back up over to Door and made a loop.
