Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: In from Bog Road Side - many older blowdowns but some from this year - below wilderness sign - a small step over, a large rotted tree its base splintered and it dropped almost straight down onto trail and got hung up in a tree across the trail, an east step around now. Above wilderness sign 2 small stepovers, on mud brook - the larger blowdown from last year has been notched so one can step over, one other smaller blowdown. All the bog bridges are in a sad state and becoming more of a hindrance than help. Maintainer has done a lot of recent drainage work .

Comments
Comments: A quick afternoon hike - nice and sunny at the top. Route is a little shorter than the loop off rte 113 and easy going until wilderness sign after which there are a few steep sections. Trail generally dry or a bit damp. There was one patch of mud before the wilderness sign - deep in spots but there were strategically placed rocks and logs. Met many out today along with many dogs, most came up from 113 but several took our path.
