Just enough black flies on the summits to not want to linger. Otherwise, not too bad. |

Trails were mostly dry and in good shape. Took a detour and walked the Jordan Pond Path below South Bubble - smooth footing and nice views. Bubbles Trail up South Bubble was rugged in places with some metal rungs. A bit more tame between the peaks. Great views on both summits (didn't go out to the northern view on North Bubble...should have, but was saving energy for another hike). Bubbles Divide trail east side has been reloed and rebuilt, giving it good footing. |
