Comments
Comments: beautiful morning with 360 views, incl. all the Presis from Old Speck summit tower; also had moose sighting; perfect way to spend a morning; carried snowshoes but did not use them as only a small portion of the trail consisted of unstable monorail (due to temps.); higher up everything was frozen, making for stable monorail. Used microspikes most of the way (put them on sometime during the first mile (before Eyebrow and AT merge again) and kept them on til the same spot again on the descent (minus taking them off to climb the tower)
